DIY Rail Sections
The DIY Rail Section first appeared on Amazon and quickly became a huge seller for those homeowners who want to upscale the look of their staircase by themselves. It has proven to be the easiest way to install stair parts without the help of expensive stair builders and contractors.
Although sales have gone well, Amazon’s selection is limited to just one style, which is the single basket/double twist baluster variation.
But at Stair Part Depot, you will find more variations to choose from, all custom made for you to assemble at your home - as shown to right: the single knuckle, double knuckle, and plain bar variation.

DIY Kits includes a handrail, shoe rail, and balusters - all of which have hardware already installed.
After cutting the handrail (see animation below for instructions), all you have to do is assemble them together, slide the shoes to the tips of the baluster. Then the section is complete.
From there, the section can be installed into newels posts or walls. (hardware and tools NOT included)
