Cancellations & Returns
Orders may be canceled as long as they have not been shipped out, but will be subject to a 3% cancellation fee. Please note that this applies to standard items only, and not to special order items. Once a special order process has been set in motion, it cannot be reversed.
Customers are responsible for all freight costs if the order is canceled during transit.
If you have any items that need to be returned for credit, there will be a 25% restock fee associated with such a return. This fee consists of the total item cost, and as well any additional freight costs. If the material has been damaged, altered, or in any way rendered unusable or unsuitable for resale, there will be no credit issued in such a case, and the return will be refused.
Shipping charges are not refundable.
Returns will only be honored if presented within 30 days from the purchase date.
Custom or nonstandard items may not be returned.
Returns are only valid if approved by an authorized representative of Stair Parts Depot.
Shipping costs are subject to change according to current rates.
Sales limited to the 48 US Continental States only.
Each order will be individually calculated for its shipping cost. We will inform you of shipping costs and arrange for an advance payment.
All shipments are F.O.B. our warehouse unless specified otherwise.
*Any order excluding Handrail, Bending Rail, Shoe Rail and Tread reaching or exceeding $2,000.00 will receive the benefit of free shipping.
Note: There is no residential truck delivery. Truck deliveries only to the terminal nearest to the customer’s location for customer pickup.

Ordinary claims for item shortages or damage must be made directly with the shipping company. If it can be demonstrated that the item shortage or damage inflicted was not a result of the shipping company‘s mishandling, then Stair Parts Depot will consider and honor reasonable cases of this nature. Claims for shortages must be made within 2 days after the shipment is received.
Stair Parts Depot is not responsible for delays, or cases of lost freight.
Stair Parts Depot reserves the right to change pricing at any time.
Sales tax will be applied to California customers.
